THE FOLLOWING IS INFORMATION FROM ALICE STILLMAN BARBER IN 1934{GRANDDAUGHTER} AND ADDENDUM FROM CARL FRANK TODSON IN 1955{GREAT GRANDSON} OF JOHN BARBER.

THE BEST THAT I OFFER IS THE THREE PRINCIPLE DATES IN THE LIVES OF THE DESCENDENTS OF CAPTAIN JOHN BARBER AND HIS WIFE EMMA,FORMERLY OF BENSON,VERMONT, AND LATER OF BARBER'S CORNERS, DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, TO WHICH THEY HAVE UNTIL THE PRESENT ATTAINED:VIZ,BIRTH,MARRIAGE AND DEATH.
