Am a descendant of the Great Mahan Shri. Appaya Dikshita & Mahan Shri.Neelakanta Dikshita of Tamilnadu, India. I have collected the family members of these great Dikshitas, who had done a great deal to the kings, including Thirumalai Nayyakkar of Madurai,soceity etc. The main intention of this project is to unite , share the individual family details, from the period of Great Grandfather of Shri. Appaya Dikshita.
Swami Sivanada Maharaj Founder of Divine Life Soceity , a native of Pattamadai also is descendant of Shri Dikshitas. Various eminent scholars including Justice Viswanatha Iyer, Judge Ratnam, Auditor R. Subramanian, Builder Shri. Krishanamurthy Iyer of Kayes Constructions ( Neelakantan Brothers - Civil Engineers, Madras), including Shri. P.S.Krishnaswamy Iyer ( Alias Ambi Anna) Of Pattamadai, a National Best Teacher awradee.
