This site has been set up for our family history and to try and find out what happened to our great grandfather or his family who emigrated to America from Vaga Norway in 1881. I now belive (2008) he changed his name to Hans G Walden and ended up living in a town called Dovray&Holly which is in Murray County Minn USA. I also know this Hans G Walden married and had children. (I think he died in 1914) His children were Gilbert, Engberg, Ressie, May and Mable and possible 2 more. Ive looked through names of people who lived in Dovray And Holly on the internet and lots of the names of people in the towns are from Norwegian decent and have our old family names i.e Lien, Volden.
