When I was about twelve years old, my mother and I attended a
reunion of her mother's family in Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada. That was a long time ago. I met great aunts and uncles, cousins, people I'd heard about all my life. She had always made me feel as though I already knew them all. As the years went by she gradually lost touch with most of them. I have a lot of snapshots and portraits I am trying to identify, hopefully this attempt at building her family tree will help me.
My maternal grandmother's name was Ada Amy Amelia Sumner.
