My research includes the ancestors of the Nocks and Monks
of Kentucky on my mother's side. It is not complete. But I have been in touch with a 2nd cousin from the same ancestors that I didn't know I had. Our mother's were first cousins.
On my father's side I have traced the Heinzman line back to Germany in the 1700's. My father's mother was Myrtle Ellen Bristow who died at a young age from cancer. She was born in 1879 and died in 1927, before I was born. I just found some info on the internet from someone else searching the same family line. Now I am trying to find out info on my mother's father who died before she was born. Her last name was Farish. She was born in 1906 or 1905. She was raised by her grandparents in Pewee Valley, KY. Her mother's name was Josephine Nock Farish. I can't find out any info on her husband at all. Mainly because I don't know his first name. If anyone out there knows of any Farish line with a son who died somewhere between 1905 and 1908. I would appreciate any info you have. He would have propably been in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio or Missouri.
