Researching family of Ralph Sladek b-Superior, WI married Emily Sinkula b&d Chicago, Il. Had 4 children - Gilbert Ralph Sladek, Richard Charles Sladek, b - 4-23-1930 d 3-22-1994, Virgina Lee Sladek, b 8-6-1932 d 11-13-1979, Gertrude Sladek died as a baby. Emily died in 1938 from Diabetes, buried in Bohemian Cemetery, Chicago, Il. Ralph known to have moved to California but lost track of him there. The 3 surviving children were adopted in May 1939 by George Richmond & Clara (Fern) Todd-Richmond. Gilbert married Celeste McLaughlin, 1 daughter, Sharon (married 1 child).
Richard (who I am descended from) had 4 children, Michael (died in 1956), Deborah (Debbie), Richard Gerald, Barbara Ann. Richard married Dolores Hacholski (still living).
Virginia, married Thomas Burdett, no children.
I have also researched Clara Todd's family through old documents and photographs and have traced her family back to 1840. Clara's family name was Mansfield.
Looking for information on the Mansfield Family also. I know that the Mansfield family started in Pennsylvania.
Any information would be helpful.
