William Everet Barnes was my Grandfather on my maternal side. I've been researching through the Barnes surnames to try and find more information about my Barnes family. For 6 years now and I am no farther along than when I started my research. This is what I have and hopefully some day some one will see my Grandfather's name and remember him from their family history and we can share our information.
William Everet BARNES was born in either 1891 or 1896 in St. Louis, Missouri. According to my Mother's birth certificate in 1920 he was either 24 yrs or 29 yrs old at the time of her birth. William Everet Barnes was once married to my Grandmother, Hazel Fern Stewart, daughter of John Wilson Stewart and Etta Whitenack. Hazel was born Aug. 22, 1896 in Sadelia, MO. Unknown is when or where William and Hazel married. The only children of my Grandmother Hazel Stewart-Barnes were from this marriage. They are;
