I am researching the Goodwin Family Line. My grandmother was Nellie Alberta Goodwin b. 03/06/1912 d. 03/29/1980 in SC. She had a half brother, Eugene Melvin Goodwin b. 03/25/1909.

Nellie's mother was Maymie/Mayme/Mamie Goodwin b. 03/12/1891 d. 01-31-1981. Nellie's father was Millard Thomas Goodwin b. 03/28/1889 d. 12/19/1927 and is buried at the Red Lick Methodist Church Cemetery in Red Lick, Texas just outside of Texarkana. Maymie Goodwin married R. R. (Rube Roy) Toon on 12-05-1909;and then married Millard T. Goodwin on 07-09-1911...she married both men in Delta County, Texas. Mayme later married a Thero Paull, lived in Shreveport, LA and is buried next to him in Bossier Parish @ Hillcrest Cemetery. I am still trying to locate Eugene Melvin Goodwin's paternity.

Mamie's mother was Laura Maranda Clifford b. 08/26/1854 d. 10/15/1898. Mamie's father was Andrew Jackson Goodwin b. 04/12/1850 d. 01/20/1920. Mamie had the following siblings:
William Franklin Goodwin b. 04/19/1878 d. 03/06/1926
Rich E. Goodwin b. 09/09/1880
Bessie Goodwin b. 03/25/1883
Hauttie Goodwin b. 01/27/1888

Millard Thomas Goodwin's mother was Francis E. Mills and his father was William Peyton Goodwin b. 07/29/1854 in Mississippi and died 02/19/1932 in Bowie County, Texas. Both Francis and William are buried at Red Lick Cemetery as well. Millard's siblings were as follows:
Benjamin Franklin Goodwin b. 09-28-1881
Talmadge Byron Goodwin b. 03/22/1892
Clarence J. Goodwin b. 10/07/1894
Edna Goodwin b. 12/??/1883
Millie Goodwin b. 12/??/1885

William Peyton Goodwin's mother maiden name is unknown but her first name was Emily. His father was Tardon A. Goodwin b. 1827 in Alabama and died in Bowie County Texas... both are buried at Red Lick as well.
