I was adopted as an infant child and first met my biological father in 1990. I know that he is now dead. He died last year in June. I am looking for other relatives that I have out there so that I can start a family tree for my first grandchild. My father's name was Richard J. Slamski. He was born in Ogdensburg, NY on October 14th, 1953. His father was John Slamski - born Dec 13th 1910 and his mother was Margaret McNally Slamski - born Aug 23rd 1914. I am the only sibling of 4 that does not remember anything about my father's family. My brothers and sister were much older when my parents divorced. Updated 1/25/06 - I have come across an excerpt online from a Bthe Smith regarding a desire to find out information regarding Rose Kormanack Nesky Slamski, who is my paternal grandmother. When I tried to email this "Beth Smith", it came back to me. Please contact me if you have any information regarding the Slamki/Kormanack family.
