My family search has only gone back to my 3xGreat Grandfather Wilson Lee born in Stewart Co., Ga. His son Wiley Toller Jacobs was born in Dale Co., Al. and fathered my Greatgrandfather William Alexander Jacobs, born in Dale Co., Al.
He married Amanda Lou Baker and fathered my Grandfather Albert Jacobs. Amanda Lou Baker died giving birth to her 9th or 10th child. Two of their children, a boy and a girl died in a house fire. William Alexander married Lorah E. Buttram Brett, the widow of a Civil War Vet, Brett. They had one son, Hubert. My Grandfather married Melvy Bolin in Bonifay, Fl., and had a son William Dee and a litte girl. Melvy and the little girl died with flu. William Dee was adopted by his Bolin Grandparents and took their name. He married Bonnie ? and fathered two sons, Charles and ?. He was murdered in 1960 and is buried in Black, Al. My Grandfather, Albert married Myrtle Wilson. They had my Mother Thelma Jacobs Boswell, Velma Jacobs Bennett, Gene Jacobs, Dean Jacobs, Max Jacobs, Frances Jacobs, Merle Jacobs, Mary Nell Jacobs and William Jack Jacobs.
We have a reunion in Chipley, Fl. with other members of my Grandfather's family the first Sat. in Nov. Any information to add to this would be greatly appreciated.
