I have been working on my family Genealogy for over 30 years. The work has developed the history of the Slaughter Family of Upper Slaughter, Gloucester County, England from 1185 through the present day. This is an ever correcting environment but I believe we have a very accurate account of many of the family. Mr. Stephen Jourgensen of Salt Lake City, Utah has completed some very good work on the expanded family from Upper Slaughter into New Zeland, Australia, Canada and all the iles of the sea. His work helped me to go back from 1522 to 1185. On my father's maternal side was the name Humphries. I have completed this genealogy back to the time before of the Revolutionary War. My beginning was John Humphries of Virginia. Much work has been done on this family outside of my work by a Mrs. Abee or similar name. My plans are to paste the work completed into my home page here in Genealogy.com.
