William Daborn was born on 27 July 1654 at Woking, Surrey. He was the son of John Daborn and Jane Boylett. He married Ann (?) in 1670. He was a Blacksmith on 1 April 1687 at Horsell, Surrey.2 He died before 14 September 1706.3,1 He was buried on 14 September 1706 at Horsell, Surrey.
He left a will which was proved on on 27 June 1707 and a transcription reads:

'William Dalborne of Horsell, blacksmith 9 Jun 1706
two closes of leasehold land add land of Richard Roake on north and land of John Woods on east and
common on south and west to my son John Dalborne for length of lease giving to my wife Ann Dalborne house
room for life or £1 10s p.a; to my son John Dalborne all my tools and half ton of iron when he and his mother
part; residue to my wife Ann and son George Dalborne and daughter Ann Dalborne when George is 21 and
daughter is 21 or married; wife, exec.
Witnesses: John Ives (X); Richard Fenn; Edward Wallden
Proved: 27 Jun 1707 to exec. [DW/PA/5/1707/47].3'
