John Collyer was born on 9 March 1664 at Horsell, Surrey.4,5 He was the son of John Collyer and Ann Symmons. He was christened on 28 March 1664 at Horsell, Surrey.He married Elizabeth (?) circa 1700. He married Ester Fenn on 16 December 1718 at Horsell, Surrey.2He married Katherine (?) circa 1721. He writes a will on 12 December 1734; Will as follows:-

John Collyer of Horsell, yeoman, ancient and infirm 12 Dec 1734 (to poor £2)
to my wife Catherine Collyer household goods up to £10 and east end of my manor house Hill Place, Horsell beyond the great hall in her widowhood; to my eldest daughter Catherine Collyer my freehold messuage I late bought from William Freeland in Horsell and land thereto adjoining arable land Gunners Land, Horsell (14 acres) and arable Littlewick, Horsell (9 acres) and meadow Wilcox, Woking (3 acres) and parcel of brook and meadow I late bought from John Hone Parley Brooks and Speer Mead, Woking (10 acres) and great and predial tithes from said land at 21 with remainder to my son John paying to my youngest daughter Ann Collyer £200 when John is 21; to my daughter Ann my freehold messuage I late bought from Robert Emmett (31 acres) in Horsell and Woking and leasehold arable land Dallyes Fields or Larks Grove, Horsell I late bought from John Freeland (4 acres) and freehold meadow Littlewick Mead alias Warners Mead, Horsell I late bought from Jane Harvest, widow (2 acres) and tithes of same at 21 with remainder to my son John paying to my father Catherine
£200 when he is 21; to my son John manor house Hill Place and land thereto (89 acres) and coppice I late bought from Henry Warner called Smarts Grove, Horsell (5 acres) and tithes thereto; my father John Collyer formerly of Horsell, yeoman, deceased by will gave my brothers Henry Collyer and William Collyer land in Horsell but not the tithes thereto I as eldest son felt it his will they should have same and wrote so I now give said tithes to them; brother William and kinsman William Collyer late of Knaphill, execs. in trust for children until they are 21; my several parcels of copyhold land in Woking descend to my son John; residue to my son John at 21, exec.
Witnesses: Thomas Waterer; John Tedder; William Collyer, blacksmith
Proved: 12 Apr 1735 to execs.
He died before 18 March 1734/35. He was buried on 18 March 1734/35 at Horsell, Surrey.2
