What can you say about your mum? - its hard not to get sentimental at this time as the memory of her funeral still invades my senses (Less that a month)
I can remember my mum being a bright person, who allways know how the accounts side of life worked, she seemed to be the matriarch of the family, and the one that allways kept in contact with everyone else.
Who will take on this role now that she has passed on im unsure - maybe Aunt lily, she seems to be strong.
She enjoyed a good joke, and loved to plant things in the garden, but mum had a strong sense of history and loyalty too - I remeber when we lived inn Manor Park (52 nine Acres Close) mum planted a rose in the front garden it was a "Peace" rose (powder blue in clolour) and that was for the memory of her dad (my grandad)
