I am just beginning to explore my family history. I find it fascinating. It is so simple to lose site of where we came from in today's world.
We would all be a lot better off, and probably more humble and proud, when we discover where it is that we came from.
I look forward to any correspondence that will aid me in my search.
Here is the information that I know: I was born on June 28, 1965 in Gregory, South Dakota. I have 2 siblings, (Donald Edward and Ronald Joseph). My parents are Joseph Vladimir Smutny and Cheryl Ann Bowen. My dad was born March 18, 1942 in Burke, South Dakota to Edward Vladimir and Annie Smutny. My mom was born August 18, 1943 to Donald Leslie Bowen and Virginia Mae Rodabaugh in Kansas City, Missouri.
My dad has 4 siblings, (George, John Charles, Albin Robert and Joan). My mom has 2 siblings, (Donald Leslie Jr. and Laurence Ronald).
I get stuck from here on. Any information is greatly appreciated.
