My Grandmother, Annie Esther Savage, was born in or near Nassawaddox, Va., between 1885 and 1900. Married to Olie Jackson Ross. Children: Charles, Warner, Annie, and Peggy (or Margaret). Family lore links to Colonial Governor Yeardly, and Thomas Savage, of first supply ship to Jamestown colony, Captained by Christopher Newport, and later hostaged to Powhatan, and became the first English settler on Virginia's Eastern Shore.
