Snethen/King with Haskell & Walthery families by R.Snethen

This endeavor was to establish an ancestry for our children. It will not only include names and dates but as much other historical information that can be found.
The Snethen ancestry can be traced back to Southern New Jersey in the 1700s with those roots going back to the original emigrants to New Amsterdam in the mid 1600s. The Haskells and their related families are fairly easily documented as most were early(1634) New England settlers.
The King family has been more of a challenge going back to the Civil War days in Georgia. The Waltherys and related families go well back in the Northern New Jersey history(1600&1700)
It is an ongoing project but can be manufactured in book form using the present day genealogy programs with the data collected to date.
