| About Our Family Research |
|
I have been conducting genealogical research for 20 years. I am a member of our local genealogical society.
Currently I am researching the following surname lines (related to me): Darling, Riddell(have pre and post Civil War Photos), Westcott (Palmyra, WI and Riddell, John Leonard and family of New Orleans, LA) Dahlberg, Sandburg, Nauta, Stonequist, Edquist (Chicago, IL) Kramer, DeYoung (from Friesland, Holland to IL Waukegan and Chicago) Dow (of MA, Haverhill and Essex) Thayer (MA Worchester and Hillsborough NH) Byal; Hawkins (both in OH); Malcolm (Ashland OH) Graham (Who was the father of DeWitt Clinton Graham before Samuel Lewis?) Coon (NY Monroe and WI) Ward (Allegheny Co. MD to Knox co. OH) Sankey, Runkle and Gilliland all of Centre Co. PA
I have Sankey and Runkle pictures to share.
I am a member of The Lost Treasures Committee of our local Genealogical Society. We match bibles, pictures and other euphemera with the next of kin or the nearest local archives. I am trying to place about 130 photos from the Simmons (Sonoma), Banta (Riverside), Wyatt and Phinney families with 2 archives: one in northern Calfornia and one in Los Angeles.
I have just joined the Genealogical Writer's group for our genealogical society. I am writing a more detailed story of Susan and Christian DeYoung's lives than I have presented on this site. It will include photos and newspaper clippings
Happy Searching! Gwynn
