I am researching surnames: Soiett, Cruce, Cowan, Lavoie, Bowers,
Leblanc, Sedotal, Cedotal, Vincent, Vinson, Kelly, Hebert, and Marina. Some of the surnames are difficult because the family members travelled from state to state and because of family secrets that we know nothing about. For instance, Cowan, My grandfather was in show business and travelled with The George White Scandals. Since he was never in one place long enough, I am having problems locating his parents and siblings. The name of Marina or maybe Marino, my greatgranfather, Joseph Marina, killed a man for raping his sister and lived from town to town for many years using alias names. I heard one of my great aunts say one time, that they (10 children) were are born with different last names. I hope not. I am making some break throughs and have no intention of stopping until I have all the information.
