I am currently researching William Lazarus Solomon (son of John Solomon) and Peter Solomon.
William Lazarus Solomon (Sr.) was born in 1838 in Talbot Co., GA. His parents were John Solomon and Rebecca Sturdivant. His parents died in Clopton, Dale Co., AL and are buried at the cemetery there. William Lazarus married Martha Sholar and they had 3 children. He was in the Co. H of the 39th Ala. Inf. and apparently obtained the rank of captain. He probably died in 1870 (from wounds he suffered in the war) but might have died sometime else.
Peter Solomon was born in 1736 in Virginia, England, or possibly even Scotland. His military record says that he was born in Virginia. He had two children (maybe more?)- Lazarus and James. He died in North Carolina before 1795.
