It has only been the last few years that I have become interested in geneology. My oldest brother has always been interested, but he is dead now, so I feel a compulsion to carry on with family history. I feel it is so important, I would like to have the family tree done to pass on to my children, so that hopefully they too will carry on the tradition. Six years ago, I went to Minneapolis to attend a family reunion of my paternal grandmother. What a thrill, it really got the interest flowing through my veins. My first cousin, once removed had researched the family tree and had made up books containing all the information that she had collected. I love to read if from time to time as it contains hand written letters of my grandmother who I never knew. We met long lost relatives from Sweden on that trip, and now some of them are coming to visit us in Canada this summer.Really looking forward to it.
