About Our Family Research
After the death of my mother and father, I realized that I wanted to keep their memories alive throughout eternity. I realized, maybe a little bit to late like most of us, the importance of knowing who they really were and where they came from. I somehow thought that life for them had started when I was born and I failed to try to know them prior to that event. Now, I am hungry for that informations that I thought was uneventful and irrelevant. I know my father was very proud of his name, he was the wisest man I ever knew. My mother was dedicated to honoring him, despite all his faults. The only message I recieved from her was (in between the lines)that I should be proud to be a Somoza. This is what made me what I am today. Their Legacy! And in honor of that legacy I have committed myself to a search of my ancestors. To try in some way to recapture what these people were all about. What did my grandparents do or say or teach my mother and father to make them such magnificient people. I bow my head in respect for my ancenstors who were able to instill in their decendents what I poorly try to portray in mine. I am totally committed to this search with the hopes that someone out there will assist me in my venture with some type of information about who they were and what they were all about. Maybe then, I can at least try to leave a legacy to mine, a legacy of respect, love and admiration for those of us who have passed on. A legacy for future generations to look upon so that they can make this a better world and universe.
