I have discovered that my family tree is really more of a bush, with its limbs branching out in all directions. I have more than 180 names of people who were once living, breathing, loving individuals. In some family lines I can go back 8 or more generations, but this does not tell me enough. I want to learn more about who I am and where I come from. I have family stories that have been handed down from mother to daughters, telling of some facinating tales.
I would like to share my information with anyone who wishes to learn more about their own family members. Trading bits and pieces of details can turn a tale into a complete story.
Here is a brief list of surnames in my family: BAUGHMAN, BEAULIEU, BECK, BIGELOW, BLAUGH, BOND, BURNS, BURRIS, CAMPBELL, CLAMPITT, COLLINS, DAY, DUKE, EIGHMY, GODDEN, HAINES, HILEMAN, LASLEY, MCCORMICK, MILLER, NORWOOD, PHILLY, POPE, RHOADES, ROBINSON, ROWELL (POWELL), SAMSSams
, SCHOECK, SMITH, SPANGLER, STOUT, TREECE, (TREESE), VINEGARDE, WALKER, WILHELM, WORKMAN, WYMAN.
These are but a few, your welcome to copy any information you find helpful in your search.
I am extremely interested in the name Amanda Treece (Treese), mother of William Robert Lasley. I believe this is the turning point of my heritage.
