This part of my geneology will cover my fathers side. SOPER which is English decent.
-My name is CINDY MURDOCK,(maiden name-SOPER), born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Feb 13, 1957, from CLIVE and EVELYN SOPER. I was married to Miles Ronald Murdock on June 23, 1979. Miles was born in Central Butte Saskatchewan in May 23,1952 to Cambell Murdock, who was born April 22, 1922 in Mawer Saskatchewan and Dorthy Perry from Wishard, Saskatchewan. Miles passed away in Feb,1993 at age 41. We had three children together. Beverly Gwen Murdock, born Oct 9th, 1981 in Edmonton General Hospital, Matthew Murdock born Aug 25, passed Aug 26,1983 from premature lungs, at University of Alberta and Adam Michael Murdock, born November 26, 1985 at the University of Alberta hospital. More of the Murdock info will be found in the future on the Murdock heritage information, which is of Scottish decent.
-My fathers name is CLIVE ROBERT SOPER, born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Jan 13,in 1934. Clive married his first wife, Evelyn Stark in Feb 9th, 1952. Evelyn was born in Bloomsbury, Alberta on March 2, 1935. Clive and Evelyn had four children; Terry Melvin Raymond Soper, born in Sept 14,1952, Diane Amelia Soper (Shaw), April 16,1955, myself, Cindy Lois Soper, born on Feb 13,1957, and Andrea Evelyn Soper born Jan 7th, 1969. My mother Evelyns mothers is named is Olga Stark, (maiden Jerke), and her husband Luwig Stark, both coming from different parts of Germany. More of this info will be in my mothers, Stark heritage information. As of the year 2001, Olga Stark is still living and is in her 80s. Clive is presently living in Edmonton Alberta with his wife Jane and there two cats. He likes to read, garden, work on the computer and invent things. Clive is also an awesome cook.
-My grandfathers name was REGINALD FREDERICK SOPER, born in Mullen's Pond, England on April 21st, 1908, and arriving in the port of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1925/04/03 at age 16. The name of the ship he traveled on with his family was called AUSONIA, Cunard. The family settled in Sedgewick, about 40 miles west of Wainwright. Reg moved to Edmonton in 1928 where he two years later married Lydia Mary Johnstone. There two sons were Lynne Soper and Clive Robert Soper. -My great grandfathers name was FREDERICK SOPER and he was married to ALICE SOPER. They brought there 5 children from Basingstoke, England and arrived in 1925/04/03 to Halifax, Nova Scotia on the ship AUSONIA, Cunard. Fred was age 40 years when they immigrated. His wife Alice Soper,aged 45, arrived on the same boat with there 5 kids. Reg age 16, Winifred age 14, Roland age 12, Joseph aged 10, and Wilfred age 6. I think they might have married around 1906. They were burried at Rochfort Bridge cemetary, in Alberta. Note: Facts on arrival to Canada from National Archives of Canada.

1956 Fred and Alice Soper with there great grandchildren. Terry Soper, age 3 yrs, (my older brother), sits on Freds lap on the left side of the photo. Diane Soper, my older sister, age 8 1/2 months, sits on Alices lap. Dale, Lynne and Jeans oldest son, age 5 1/2 months, sits on Pops lap. Pop is a nickname given to my great grandfather, lils dad. I believe his name was Robert Johnstone. He was a neat old guy and lived with Reg and Lil until his 90s.

In the back row are Clives two oldest Diane, and Terry, then there is Evelyn, Clives wife and my mother, then Clive. Next to Clive is the oldest child of Reg and Lil, Lynne, then his wife Jean, there oldest Dale then Lori. In the second row is Reginald, the oldest child of Fred and Alice,then there sits Alice, then Frederick then Lydia. In the bottom row in front, sit Lynn and Jeans youngest, Trent and myself, Cindy then Lynns third child, Garth.

Fred and Alice Sopers 60th Wedding Anniversary. I am sitting in the second row, second from the right wearing a pink sweater. Im not sure of the date of the event or of everyones names in the picture. If anyone reading this can tell me, I will add it in this very spot.
