Can you help locate more information about my Grandfather "Victor Jules/Joseph Sorina/Sourena"? He was a Creole Fisherman, (born in New Orleans, La. in April 1883) from a -land -owning -fishing -family. In a tragic fishing boat accident he drowned in the process of saving my father Victor Milton Sorina, who washed out of my grandfathers small boat while fishing in Lake Ponchertrane, La. in Sept. 1916. My father was aprox.six years old at this time. I would like to know who my grandfathers relatives and parents were? where they originated from? when, and who were their ancestors and relatives? I have done alot of research but I also have alot of missing important links that prevent me from accurately connecting all the "Dots".
