Thomas Spavins married Susanna Barsford of GT. Staughton, Huntingdonshire at Bolnhurst on28th January 1875. They had eight children. Anyone who would like a family tree is welcome to receive one. The family tree covers eight generations of the family who seem to have basically settled in the village of Willington in Bedfordshire. In the parish church one can find many references to particular members of the family and there are of course many tombstones in the cemetery. One tombstone had a Spavins buried in a grave with people with different surnames. As a result of research done by Tom Manthorpe, this is now explained. On the tree most of the English family are accounted for. All of the Canadians. All of the U.S.A members and the South Africans plus two families in New Zealand. As a result of the work done by the Morton family in Australia, we now have the complete Australian tree to complete the Spavins family tree.
