My mother's father's family was very large, but due to her parents' divorce she lost touch with her cousins. Her father, Leroy James Riese, lived in New York and had 4 brothers - Harry, Lewis (or Louis), Irving and Coleman. A fifth brother, Aaron, died young in 1895. Leroy had 3 sisters - Blossom, Gertrude and Minerva. I'm looking for their descendents as my Mom Leona Elizabeth Riese is the only sibling left from her original family and is 81. More detail about Leroy - he was born in Danbury CT on 12/18/93. His second wife was Elsie Gordon. His parents were Alexander Hamilton Riese and Anne Drexel Eill. He was in the navy in WWI.
On my father's side I'm looking for descendents of Jacob and Bertha Rabinovich. They may also have had the last name of Robbins. Bertha and Jacob came to American around 1900 to New York with five children - David, Matilda, Sam, Morris and Minnie. David Robbins was my grandfather. He lived in New York and CT, and was married to Frances Frachtman. He died in 1937. He had one sibling - Eugene - who died during WWII. I'd like to find descendents of Sam, Morris or Minnie since my Dad is also 81.
