Enous and Rosie (Patrick) Spinks were married in November 1903. Their ages and birth dates are unknown. It was said that Enous had a least two brothers. Names: Ben Joseph Spinks and James "Duce" Spinks. Since records were not kept, names of sibblings and children are know from other family members. This marriage bore 14 children. Some of Enous & Rose's children passed away at an early age. These deaths are known by family members and very little documentations. Since it was not a law to record records before 1908, a lot of records are not available. This is an African-American Spinks family line. Enous and Rosie Spinks raised their children in Hardeman County, TN which later became Bolivar, TN, Most of their children have since moved to other states. Their last living daughter, Hester Spinks-Washington passed away in November of 2004. The names of Enous's parents and why they settled in Hardeman County, TN is still unknown.
