I am currently tracing my family tree and have managed to go back as far as about 1846. This is to George and Hannah Spittles who were married in Kelso, NSW (just outside of Bathurst). (He is my great great great grandfather) They had three children (as far as I know): Ellen Spittal B: 1847 (don't know why name is spelt differently), George Spittles B: 1849 (Kelso), and Thomas Spittles B: 1852 (Kelso).
George Spittles (my great great grandfather) married Eliza (Elizabeth) Jane Draper in 1871. I believe he spelt his name as Spittel when he married. They had three children: Albinia Jane Spittles B: 1873, George William Spittles B: 1876, and Maud M Spittles B: 1877.
George William (my great grandfather) married Alice Rose Bell in 1902 (Forbes) and they had six children. He married as William George (don't know why). Children: Wlliam John Cecil B:23-10-1903 D: 1955, Mabel E E B:1905, Albania Rose (Rosie) B:1907 D: 1910, Mary Sylvia, John Eric Mervil B: 30-7-1912, George Charles B: 17-1-1914.
William John Cecil (my grandfather) married Annie Josephine Adams in 1926. From here I have most of the information I require as it is most recent and up-to-date.
What I require is more information about George and Hannah Spittles and their children Ellen and Thomas. Also, more info. going even further back to George's parents and siblings.
Hope somebody can help (eventually)
Regards
Sharon Spittles
