This site is dedicated to researching the GRANTs from both my father and mother's side of the family. It was once thought that my father and mother were related thru the GRANTS. As of yet, I have not been able to make the connection. I have found connections in other unexpected places. But this site is about the GRANTs.
Chronicling a family's genealogy is a never ending project. This one has been twenty plus years in the making to this point. There have been hours of research only to find that it was a false lead and then moments when connections were made as if out of nowhere. After hours spent on the internet, hot afternoons trudging through the thick underbrush of over grown cemetaries and fallen foundations, hour upon hour in libraries searching for familial names, and many pots of coffee, this project has come to a point where it should be shared with other family members who want to know who our ancestors were and where they came from. There will be no doubt many more years of research and collecting of information yet to come.
