Born in Monterey, Calif. Adopted by Spotswood family. Bio moms surname Harper. She grew up in Monterey apparently and married name McGill. Have searched a few times for family but found dead ends. Have recently started having dna testing for my own interest but became interested in the possibility of finding some bio family. Happily, a member of genforum has given me a lot of information about what I believe is my extended biological family, and I am following up on this. We are also researching an extended family of Sanchez/Pacheco from New Mexico and Pangelina from Gaum. Am particularly interested in Reyes Pacheco, born in Fort Sumner, NM 1896. Have not been able to find her parents names or birth certificate. I have been able to find her as an adult living in Winslow, AZ. Through mito dna testing and family history, we know that Reyes has native american heritage and spoke a native language.
