My husband Hugh and I are new to geneaology. We finally took all those scraps of paper and decided it was about time to get organized.
We have been interested in our family tree for years. It all started when our son Michael, had to do a family tree for school. That was around 1985. We interviewed family members and started boxes full of information. A few years ago it was our nephew Tylers turn to do a family tree for school and we got interested all over again. Now that we have two grandchildren it's even more important to share family history and give them a sense of their roots.
It wasn't until we found the program, Family Tree Maker that it all became fun! We've been having a ball searching out information and will be adding to our home page when we get more information.

NEWS: We took a trip to Ireland in Sept 2004 and searched out family of my husband in Co Donegal and Co Tyrone. What a thrill it was to meet family that until then were only faded pictures in family albums. My daughter and I were welcomed into their homes and treated as visiting royalty. This was the best experience of our lives. We got plenty of information to add to our family tree and made many happy memories.
