W. Piper (Fairntosh) to PCC (Ral) 31 Oct 1842: "Mr. Bennehan thinks Stanly does not look as well as when he saw him before I do not think him any worse. I put him in the cotten lot one day he complained of pain in the side after it I would not let go again. he is michevious, will go to the Kitchen contrary to my my order and I think he eats there more than Aggas with him. I have ordered him not to leave the yard of Esther's house."
