I have used the internet to research for grandparents, great grandparents and their families. A lot of information has come from the Census records, together with birth marriages and deaths from 1837 to 1984. I had only scant information on my Mother's family, but a little more on my Father's family. Have now put together enough information to compile a family tree reaching back to my great grand parents ( in my children's case, their great great grandparents.
