I was named for my paternal grandmother, Martelia, however, no
one in the family ever told me anything about her. When I retired I began my search for her. To date I have traced the
surname back to a valley in France. The original name was NANS.
My paternal family has been a great adventure and I have found
many Cousins that before this genealogy I had no knowledge of.
The surname is MOSER.
My maternal family has given me many trips to archives and libraries far and wide. To date I have very little on the Sweatt family, but the search is ongoing.
