James Howlin,Howland was born in 1833 in Tennesse.I have no ideal who his parent are.In 1870 James could have been in a place call KerensTx.But in 1880 he was inPalestinsAnderson Co Tx as a widower his race was Mulatto his Occupation:Carpenter: Mr.James Howling was employed to build the church house.Many men of the community helped with the building project.Among those who worked ane use their teame for hauling lumber were Charlis Lowe,Ike Clewis,SolOwner,Farnk Austin,Bob Green,and Joe Cain.His parent came from Virginia.He marrage Rebecca Jackson May 27 1883 in Anderson Co Tx.Iam not sure if John Holland is his son Children: John h Holland.Farnk Howland,Marshall Howland

The 1880 census of James Howlin a Sellers with no last name is living with him B 1854 26 years old.
