I have been doing genealogy for about 15 years now. It got started when an aunt mentioned that my great great great grandfather, Barton FARR was the first REEVE of Canborough Township, Ontario and then things just escalated from there. I fell in love doing the research, and even my husband started helping me walk through all the cemeteries that we could find, to see if we could find any graves of our ancestors. I have been researching DOAN/COLES/MERRITT/VAUGHAN on my paternal side and BRITTON/BURNHAM/EVERINGHAM/FARR/LYMBURNER/MELICK on my maternal side. There has been quite a few intermarriages along the way, and I even found a connection to both my parents!!!!!
