I'm very interested in researching my Father Billie M. Strong's family history. His father was Joe Strong.
I married James W. Clinton, and a very indepth book has been done on the Clinton/Tharp families by Aunt Thelma Whittington.
My mother was Virginia L. Wood and we do know some things about that side, my Grandmother was Elsie Mae Merritt and we know her father came from Ireland, there is also a book about that side.
On my grandpa Joe Strong's side we are suppose to be Indian, stories told to me by my aunts relate to this.
I dream of finding out all I can but working gives me little time for research. I am finally starting.
Years ago I remember going to reunions for the Wood side and the Strong side. I know we have Strong relatives in Ohio, grandpa had a brother, they had falling out never spoke again.
