I began research when my first child was born. I had a baby book with pages for family tree. My dad and mom gave me valuable information on tree I needed. Their younger siblings have no knowledge of this information.
I have used the library in Portland, Indiana for most of my research and then joined Ancestry.com for more valuable assetts to infomation. I have searched the LDS site and done many emails to many to find my ancestors. Roots web sites also helped very much.
Court house records in Portland and newspapers did much to provide me with information. Cemetery records also helpful in that county.
