I have been working on our family tree since I got on line in 1998. We had a family reunion at Tallmadge, in celebration of my mother's 80th birthday, (summer of 1998)I have reserched back to the early 1800's. Philander Stuart. I retired from the Grocery business in 2001 and now work at Kent State Univ. in housekeeping, My wife works fulltime as a cashier, My son is a student and works in Banquet Sevices. Daughter Jacqueline works there also in banquet Services, and is also enrolled. I work part-time. Note- On July 4, 2002 Mom had a stroke. It affects her right side. She has had some "Episodes" which has robbed her of much motion and strength. She had to be moved back to Kent late last year. She is well taken care of in a home just around the corner from us and up the street from sister Beverly.

  This is my dear Mom. She was educated at Kent State University, and graduated with honors from their special education department. She taught the hearing impaired in Elyria Ohio, Akron, Ohio and Kent,Ohio for many years, then she and my Dad Clare, built a house in Florida where she retired as a supervisor of the special ed department of the Sarasota school system.She is very dear to my heart.
