Hi,
I've just started my family tree with the information I have at home and from my family.
And I'm now starting to explore the internet for information I don't have and to find out more about my family and wear they come from, as well as looking for other relatives I don't know and have never meet.
I started looking about a month ago and have found out heaps of interesting things, about my family I never knew.
Cause I've only grown up with granddads, as both my grandmas die before I was born.
So their family history I've never known.
And now my last living granddad is really sick and dying, so I want to get as much information off him before its to late.
We have a very large family with lots of children, grandchildren as well as second wifes with more children.
so far i can go back 7 genarations on my fathers side with lots of family stories and history, but only 4 on my mothers without to much information and lots of gaps.
My goal is to fill in all the gaps of at least all the New Zealand born family members and to be able to find out the history and stories of how they came to New Zealand and why ?
