Maren Christensdatter (daughter of Christen Lendum Thomsen and Ane Erichsdatter) was born 31 May 1822 in Horne, Denmark, and died Bet. 1880 - 1886 in Horne, Denmark. She married Clement Johansen on 21 Apr 1846 in Horne, Denmark, son of Johan Christopher Weinkauf and Karen Margrethe Clemensdatter.

In August 1994 while in Horne, Denmark, the tombstone was located for Clement & Maren. The grave no longer exists, and the stone was lcoated with others against the wall which surounds the church yard. In Danish cemeteries after a period of 10 or so years, if the family does not continue to pay for the upkeep of the gravesites, the bodies are removed and disposed of and others are buried in their place. The stones are then lines up against the surrounding walls. The tombstone said:

f. Christensdatter nee: Christensdatter

Maren died sometime between 1880 & 1886. She appeared in the Danish cenus of 1880 and Johan and Johanne did not imigrate to the United States until 1886.
