Claude Lane (son of John Monroe Lane and Dora Lane) was born 02 Nov 1890 in Nebraska, and died 13 Nov 1970 in Nebraska.

Claude is buried in the Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska next to his grand parents, Doctor & Julia Lane. He died just 11 days shy of his 80th birthday. At the time of his death, he was living in Crete, Nebraska Saline County.

The 1910 Census find Claude listed as the head of household working as a plumber. He was 19 years old in April when the census was taken and would turn 20 in November. It also shows his three sisters (Iva, Ruth, & Julia) living with him. It does not show his morther, Dora. To date Dora cannot be located in any 1910 Census. She again shows up in the 1920 census living with Julia in Lincoln.

Claude's WWI Draft Registration dated June 5. 1917 indicates he is the support of his mother (Dora).He is single.

He cannot be located in the 1920 or 1930 census. One census for 1910 has a Claude N. but it cannot be determined if this is our Claude.
