I became interested in my family genealogy because of my mother, who in turn became interested when a distant cousin started to create a tree but ran into a few roadblocks. Her research had been done before computers and all the information we have at hand today. When my mother passed I felt that she had passed on the research, and in a way she did as I inherited her notebooks of information that she did have.
