I am interested in my family history,to connect with the stories and interested facts about their culture,the living that they made and where they lived and died. I am making it a desire to learn more about this man, Thomas JARMAN.... Because I am helping my mother find her ggrandfather... originally from England, he came with his parents from England to America ca. 1830-40, as a 6 mos. old baby??? Their surname is sometimes miss-spelled as Gorman, as in the census for Marshall Co. IN 1880. It has been Jarman since 1857, our first documented accounts of my gggrandfather. Thomas Jarman married Sarah Campbell in 1857 in La Grange, In. They had two sons: William Noah Jarman, and Charles Edward Jarman. Sarah died? and Thomas married Martha Ann Paige(PAGE) and went on to have 4 more chidren.
