One of my most favorite Aunts, Phyllis Lee Tice Shelton started this research venture many years ago. At that time I was younger, had a young family and wasn't too interested in looking into the past.
Now I'm older and I hope wiser. What Aunt Phyllis began, I am trying to carry on. In my journey through time, I have met many relatives; those who have died and blessedly some who are living. My once unknown cousins have shared much, much information with me. For that I will be always grateful. And once in awhile, I believe I can hear a whisper in my ear, or a page in a book will open to a specific place, a page not turned by MY finger, giving me the information, or lead I need. So I believe my family who has travelled so very far, is reminding me not to forget its' joys and laughter, its' tears and sorrow, but most of all its' strength. And this is what I have found:
