We are on a quest to research the roots of our family.
Randy's family comes primarily from the Northeast & Midwest and includes such surnames as Babcock, Burdick, Crandall, Draper, Fisher, Fouquet, Fulton, Good, Hodgson, Jackson, Lawrence, Mingori, Nichols, Stout, Sumner, Thompson, Throckmorton and Williams. New England, Virginia, Ohio, Illinois and Kansas are the primary areas where Randy's family has settled after immigration from primarily England, France & Italy.
Meanwhile, Erika's Hispanic heritage includes such surnames as Flores, Lucio, Olivares, Ramirez and Salazar. Mexican records are hard to find particularly prior to 1900 so we haven't made much progress in that direction ... yet. Most of Erika's family originates from either Northern Mexico or South Texas.
