The Supan family is interested in tracing our Supan, Brehm, Bowen and Flowers/Slaughter heritage.
The Supan name is Slovenian and John Supan came to America around 1880 and settled in Moundsville West Virginia as a coal miner. The Bowen name dates back to Irish immigrants from 1770.
There is one Family story of Spicers (who late married Bowen) who were raised by native americans.
The Brehm name is German and they came to America around 1890. The Flowers/Slaughter name has been in Virginia at least since the Civil war.
Other family names are Stauss, Straus, Rutledge and Reamer
