I am in the process of putting together a
Swayne/Smith-Coleman family tree and family
record. I will make it available to members of
the family interested in having a copy,
preferably on floppy disk, or printed out
for those not currently using a
personal computer.
Please verify, clarify, add, and correct the
family record which I have processed thus far.
Please send me your information about your
specific family ancestors and descendants to
include date and place of birth for spouses
and children, date of death and place of burial,
schooling, occupation. Other information about
your specific family members would be most
welcome as would additional historical
information about our ancestors or living
family members.
You can start adding information by using the
index on the attached family record, clicking
on the family member and then going back to
parents or children to verify or add information.
Other ways are clicking on a family member and
then clicking on the descendant tree or family
group record to get a listing of that
individual's family tree or family listing.
Photos of family members can also be scanned into
the family file. Any photos of your specific family
are welcome. Any photos or historical information about
our ancestors would be greatly appreciated.
Make sure you identify the persons(s) in the photos.
Also add your name so the photo so they can be returned.
I will try to enter into the family file any
information I receive before the July 2001 Coleman
reunion, print the file and have it available for
perusal at the reunion. Therefore, the earlier you
can provide me with the information, the better.
However, I recognize everyone's time constraints,
so please respond whenever you can.
