Born in Tirunelveli (Tamil Nadu) in 1928.
Educated in Tuticorin and Tirunelveli.
Graduated from M.D.T.Hindu College, Tirunelveli.
Went over to Calcutta in search of a career.
Worked as an executive in Godrej, Calcutta,
for many years.
Got married to Lakshmi from Karaikudi.
Only issue was a daughter by name Vijaya.
Had to prematuredly retire due to bad health.
A chain smoker, who never took any special
care of his health.
He was an immensely friendly man who would be
attracted to anybody in the first appearance.
Would always put up a low profile, humble,
loving and caring. He never meant harm to any one.
He was extremely fond of children and would
forget himself and be one of them in their company.
Due to chain smoking he developed lung problems
and his health deteriorated steadily.
After retirement, shifted himself to Madras.
Gave up smoking, but it was rather too late and
the damage was already done.
Could not recover from his lung problems.
Breathed his last on 29th November 1994.
Daughter was married within the family (with
his own sister's son) and is settled in
Bombay where her husband is employed.
He is remembered by everyone in the family for
his polite, humble and loving disposition.
